Shelford Heating have been Servicing and Maintaining Air Source Heat Pumps since 2010, with 100’s of Customers using our Trained Engineers.
We pride ourselves on the thorough process, and on average it will take upto three hours to complete a Full Service on the ASHP and Cylinder
The Service of an Air Source Heat Pump consists of the following, and is a requirement of those in reciept of Goverment Grants Payments, and almost certainly a requirement of units less than 7 years old to ensure warranty periods are maintained.
- Inspection of Refrigeration Circuit Pipework within the Monoblock unit or Pipework on a split unit.
- Strip down of Casing, Fans to enable access to the evapourator coil and chemical cleanse and water flush using mini pressure washer
- Internal cleanse of unit, along with fans, cases, fan guards
- Unvented Hot Water Tank Annual Service – checking of Vessels, Safety Devices, Condition report
- Cleanse of Magnetic Filtration (Including Pipework Strainers)
- Antifreeze Inhibitor Check
- Check and set flow rates of primary flow
- Check operation of all safety features inc Expansion Vessel checks and repressurize
- Check and record existing set points, adjust with client permission to obtain improved efficiency
- offer advice on best running set up
